SpeechTherapy..... Silly Rhymes and Crazy Creatures

Nelly and the jelly

It has  been great fun for me and the kids to create our own silly rhymes. We did this by thinking up a list of rhyming words e.g. Nelly, jelly, smelly, welly, telly, belly, then we made a silly rhyme out of them. The more disgustingly horrid the rhyme is the more my children seem to like it!

 

Nelly eats jelly While watching the telly It slides into her wobbly belly Nelly likes jelly out of a welly It's terribly smelly But that's how Nelly likes her jelly!
