Speech Therapy ...... Word Puzzles

Introduction

In this section I am developing 'jigsaw' type puzzles. Each puzzle piece has part of the word on it. I intend to use images along with text.

This activity is aimed at helping to build up sequences of sounds that make up longer words (2, 3 or more syllables). Some of the puzzles are aimed at investigating the position of certain sounds within words, e.g. 'sh' at the beginning or end of a word.

These activities are aimed at a child who has some early literacy skills (i.e. a beginning reader)
