Number practise 1-20

Help your child to learn the numbers 1 to 20.

SnailThis game helps your child to practise recognising and writing numbers 1 to 20.

The game can be played by two or more players.

The aim of the game is to see who can fill the 10 spaces (leaves or lily pads) for one of the numbers first.

The game can also be played by one player in which case the first snail or frog number to fill all ten spaces is the winning number.

You will need
To play the game
  • Print out the game board (print one for each player Print Frog Board - Print Snail Board)
  • Player one shakes the 20 sided die.
  • Fill in the number on the chart - ie if number 2 fill in number two on the first leaf under snail 2.
  • The next player takes their turn.
  • The first player to fill all ten spaces for a number is the winner.
  • If only one player is playing the game the winner is the snail (or frog) that's number is filled up first.
